Magee Preserve is a newer Davidon Homes neighborhood on the south side of Diablo Road and Blackhawk Road, where Town of Danville approvals cluster houses on about 29 acres of a former 410 acre ranch and keep the remaining hills as permanent open space. It is a different neighborhood from Magee Ranch to the east — newer streets set back from the corridor, with public trails on that dedicated open space connecting to Sycamore Valley Open Space Preserve.
